In November 2024, Ryan Batchelor MP alongside Nick Staikos MP and Principal Juliet Cooper officially opened the new facilities at Hampton East School. The Victorian State Government has invested more than $12 million in this project.
The Hampton East School is for Prep to Year 12 students with a mild to moderate Intellectual disability and was recently renamed following the merger of the former Katandra and Berendale Schools.
