Melbcon commenced construction at Melba College – Stage 2 Works in November 2018. The works to the school are quite extensive with two seperate building sites setup in the grounds. The first building is the construction of a new Stem Centre Building, which is a two storey building with various learning spaces and joined into an existing building via a new link bridge. The other building is the construction of a new 3 court basketball stadium with tiered seating, a seperate show court on the other side of the change rooms, storage and first aid room. The upper level has additional physical education rooms and bathroom facilities. Other works included external paving, associated external/ landscape works and car parking facilities.
